Studio Terrene operates from a remote mountain hollow in Oaxaca, Mexico. Led by master artisan Sofia Vance, each vessel is formed from locally sourced barros (clays) harvested from the foothills of the Sierra Norte.
Fired once in a traditional wood-burning pit kiln, the volatile atmosphere deposits micro-layers of ash and flame directly onto the raw clay exterior. No two vessels share the same cartography of heat.
