With Visily’s new feature to top up AI credits, users on paid plans can now conveniently purchase additional AI credits anytime to continue generating designs without interruption.
Who Can Top Up
The feature to top up AI credits is only available for active paid plans (Pro and Business) and for members with edit permissions in those workspaces.
- Workspace Owner and Admins can purchase additional AI credits for the workspace’s editors at any time.
- Workspace Members with edit permissions can only request a top-up. When a request is submitted, the Owner and Admin of the workspace will receive in-app and email notifications to review and complete the purchase.
- The top-up fee will be automatically charged to the workspace’s saved payment method.
How Top-up AI Credit Works
General rules
- Top-up AI credits don’t renew monthly and don’t expire, so you can keep using them until they run out.
- Top-up AI credits are tied to your account within a specific paid workspace. They can’t be shared with other users or used in other workspaces.
Your AI credits are used for all AI-related actions in Visily – including the AI Chat Assistant, browser extension, Auto-Prototype, and Rename Layer with AI. Learn more about AI credit consumption.
Usage Priority
Credits are used in the following order:
- Your monthly credit quota (included in your plan) will be used first.
- Once that runs out, your top-up credits will be used automatically.
When Downgrading
- If a workspace is downgraded from a paid plan to the Free plan, any remaining top-up credits will be paused and can be used again once the workspace upgrades back to a paid plan.
- If your role changes to Viewer, you won’t be able to use the remaining top-up credits until your permissions are upgraded back to Can Edit (Editor, Admin).
How to Top Up AI Credits
Please make sure you’re in the correct workspace before processing a top-up.
As an Admin/Owner
To top up AI credits, Workspace Owners or Admins can go to Workspace Settings → Billing & Plans, then select Top-Up AI Credits under the AI Credits section.
In the Top up AI credits dialog, you can:
- Select one or more editors in the workspace to top up.
- Choose your preferred top-up package.
- Review the purchase summary that appears before confirming.
Once everything looks good, click Confirm and Purchase to complete the transaction. The top-up will be applied immediately.
As a Non-Admin Member
For workspace members, you can request additional credits anytime by opening your account dropdown menu and selecting Buy More.
AI Credit Top-Up Package
Visily offers several top-up AI credit packages, starting from 3,000 credits and going up to 100,000 credits.
The more credits you purchase, the greater the savings you’ll enjoy!
